Stephen Colbert on a Game Boy? Works for me, though I can't really explain why.

"On Notice" sign created for the Newseum. The original sign was used on "The Colbert Report," hosted by Stephen Colbert on "Comedy Central. " The sign board includes things and people "on notice" per Stephen Colbert. On exhibit at the Newseum in the News Corporation News History Gallery.

This bear is about the size of my hand. I got it as a "free gift" with a long-ago mail order. It sits in front of my computer monitor and reminds me not to get stressed out. Who could look at that little teddy-bear face and not smile?

What a great sport the Liberal MP was. Can't wait to see Get to Know a Riding next week.

To get around the IOC's draconian licensing rules, The Colbert Report called its Vancouver 2010 Olympic shows: "Exclusive Vancouverage of the 2010/Quadrennial Cold Weather Athletic Competition/Defeat the World! " It's very similar to what LuluLemon called its non-authorized clothing line: "Cool Sporting Event That Takes Place in British Columbia Between 2009 & 2011 Edition"

A NJ communities' trash can beautification art project. Knowing my town's problem with bears scavenging garbage cans, I thought this would be a humorous way to encourage proper trash disposal. If interested, go here to see how the can was created:

Aspen scar from a bear. Bears get a manicure by digging their claws deep into a tree’s bark. It removes old growth layers from their nails, exposing sharp new layers. They favor the aspen because it is so soft. Did you know that the powder you can easily rub off Aspen bark makes an effective sunscreen?
