On Saturday, I searched five different bodegas -- first the high-end uppity gentrified ones along Park Slope's Fifth Avenue -- before finding it in one of the gritty holdouts a few blocks north of Union Street. Since I didn't think this stuff was all that great, I'll reveal to you where -- the bodega right next to Arecibo Car Service.

What a great sport the Liberal MP was. Can't wait to see Get to Know a Riding next week.

 

To get around the IOC's draconian licensing rules, The Colbert Report called its Vancouver 2010 Olympic shows: "Exclusive Vancouverage of the 2010/Quadrennial Cold Weather Athletic Competition/Defeat the World! " It's very similar to what LuluLemon called its non-authorized clothing line: "Cool Sporting Event That Takes Place in British Columbia Between 2009 & 2011 Edition"

This bear is about the size of my hand. I got it as a "free gift" with a long-ago mail order. It sits in front of my computer monitor and reminds me not to get stressed out. Who could look at that little teddy-bear face and not smile?
