Stephen chatted on his show with American snowboard cross gold medal winner Seth Wescott. Wescott barely edged out Canadian Mike Robertson at the finish line to claim the gold, which generated a good-natured ribbing from the crowd. He signed Stephen's snowboard, which Stephen is holding to Seth's right.

Stephen Colbert received a frangible nut from the crew of STS-135.
