Mike Baird & Virginia Jensen paddle up Los Osos Creek just upstream from the bay. The creek was at peak level during one of the highest tides of the year. Mike said something about Charlie, so I assume that's the dog's name.

The winter sunrises are just spectacular. The only problem is you have to get up in the dark to get them.
This was created by waving various lights in front of a camera while taking a single long exposure photograph. It was hand painted in complete darkness (90 seconds) except the text.
