Don't forget that it's supermoon the 19th!
This is a big celestial event and you can view it if weather is fine. The Moon will appear its largest and brightest on this day.
Metroline TE737 stands on Acton Street at King's Cross working W934 on the Northern Line rail replacement Service B, proudly showing off its TfL Roundel blind for use on Rail Replacement jobs.
Sadly I have found that drivers have often displayed the National Rail double arrow on TfL rail jobs instead, and this is of increasing frustration to myself.
During the Electro Motive Division tour on September 26, 1989, the walk through the electrical department was quite interesting. Here, a state of the art AAR locomotive control stand is on display for the public view before it is installed into a new SD60.

Listen to one of the greatest love songs of all time: Ben E. King - Stand By Me
Stand by Me: Ben E King
When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No I won't be afraid
Oh, I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
So darling, darling
Stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh stand, stand by me
Stand by me
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
Or the mountain should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry
No, I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
And darling, darling
Stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh stand now, stand by me
Stand by me
Darling, darling
Stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh stand now, stand by me, stand by me
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me
Oh stand by me, oh won't you stand now, stand
Stand by me...

Cardinals are so fast! This photo is one from my archives, and I thought it appropriate with all the snow falling in the south (but not here in VA).
Achilles Last Stand
Led Zeppelin
Sending off a glancing kiss
To those who claim they know
Below the streets that steam and hiss
The devil's in his hole
Oh to sail away
To sandy lands and other days
Oh to touch the dream
Hides inside and never seen, yeah
Into the sun, the south, the north
At last the birds have flown
Shackles of commitments fell
In pieces on the ground
Oh, to ride the wind
To tread the air above the din
Oh, to laugh aloud
Dancing as we fought the crowd, yeah
To seek the man whose pointing hand
The giant step unfolds
To guide us from the curving path
That turns our feet to stone
If one bell should ring
In celebration for a king
So fast the heart should beat
As proud the head, with heavy feet, yeah
A shot from inside the cave at Cathedral Rock. First time shooting from in there.
The sky was non inspiring this morning, so I’ve intentionally blown the highlights to give the image a mysterious look.
Hope you like “Achilles Last Stand”

Another shot from one of the most amazing mornings I've ever witnessed. The mist and fog hung around so long without being too dense to make it impossible to shoot. It extended that great morning light for hours.
Thanks for looking!
