This little winter plumage male Goldfinch give me a cute little pose. My first session with the G9 2 and the original 100-400. Not bad.

When LUGNuts revealed their 110th challenge, Cars Noir, one of my first idea was to a large stanced saloon/sedan. A '92 IS400 or a 7-series or something like that. As I started building it the front, it's seemed I had got the scaling completely wrong, but it would still work for a normal sized saloon. Think 3-series or G37. And that's what you see here!
Black with silver or chrome rims seems to be quite a popular colour scheme when it comes to stanced cars, especially with large ones and S-chassis. Glossy black with shiney and hugely dished wheels. That's the look I wanted to go for with this.
I want to go further into this model, maybe make a standard one or an "M sport" version or something. Because of the stance and what not, the wheels are a bit smaller, so I might have to use the SC wheels or the tyres specifically. Which means using those wheel arches, probably, which will probably take up too much space. We shall see.

Hope you enjoy my first model of 2017!

Taken through dirty glass, in horrid lighting with hyper children pushing & shoving me. In otherwords, I have no idea how I lucked out on this shot, but I'm sure glad I did!
Shot this for a friend on mine a few nights ago.. Lightpainted with the usual Bike torch and DIY box
C&C welcome
