There's a band from my Hometown that I practically grew up photographing. If I had any bright ideas for lighting a show, or trying out different film, they'd be the ones I'd test it on. Every show has been a success.

The Abbey, set out for the Coronation in 1937. I have included it in this set because of the additional seating...it HAS to be the worlds most historic theatre on such occasions as this.
Look closely at the two single electric light bulbs, which were to light the abbey...for 1937, quite something. ( If you can't find the, they are in the very centre, and slightly up, and to the right of centre. )
I have zoomed in on details in the next two pictures.

Sound and Lighting for a Hotel/Restaurant
We were asked to provide a sound system suitable for both background music and live performances. This presented a challenge because loudspeaker positioning that gives good coverage for background music tends to cause feedback when used for performances. We solved this problem by using motorised ceiling speakers. When operated in the flat position, the speakers gave good coverage of the whole room, perfect for background music. Then, during a performance, they moved into a tilted position, which directed the sound away from the stage, avoiding feedback. Discreet stage lighting was also installed, with the lanterns painted to suit the room decor. The entire installation met the brief of not detracting from the appearance of the room.
