On the wall, stage left was one of these monsters. It is a dimmer, and controlled all the stage lights in one go ! Who needs special effects, when you have one of these !

This is a bit different than the types of pics I usually post. I was going through the archives, and I came across this picture I shot at a Tim McGraw concert a couple years ago. I don't remember what camera I was using, but it was a fairly low end digital . I was pretty close to the stage, but not close enough for the on camera flash to do any good. The light was too dim for the camera to be able to freeze the motion so it's a bit fuzzy, but I always liked the feel of this one. I only wish that fan in the front hadn't been waving his big sign... :-/
