Two images blended together of the same Cormorant and Sea Trout. Taken on the river Coquet Northumberland, and yes it did manage to swallow it.

Edition 2019, Seissan, Gers, France.

We planted lots of tulip bulbs in late Autumn last year and they're currently showing off their red (and yellow) beauty. The yellows in the background of the photo are dandelions (or something similar to them, possibly 'Cats Ears'?). Whatever they are they're providing a carpet of yellow which is so pleasing to the eye. I didn't 'up the ante' with the red of the tulip in pp. That's exactly how deep and rich the red is in real life. Of course, I love it to bits. 😊 ❤️🌷

Final stretch of this Reservoir Walk

Baitings Reservoir, West Yorkshire, UK.

All seems set for a round of speed skating at the Vlaardingervaart, the old shipping canal that connects Vlaardingen with Schipluiden and Delft.

Unfortunately the ice is still thin and temperatures are already on the rise again, so probably no show soon.

Stage 88 at Commonwealth Park, Parkes, Canberra, ACT.

A real rarity to see on these streets.

Het Hallerbos kleurt weer volop paars zoals elk jaar in april. Hoog of laag, de bloemetjes bloeien overal rijkelijk!

See me, feel me, touch me, heal me

Listening to you, I get the music

Gazing at you, I get the heat

Following you, I climb the mountain

I get excitement at your feet

Went to a party yesterday, along with 70,000 others.

And what a party that was!

"On Stage" -

Blinded by the light.

Fearful of the light.

Swept up among the light.

Humbled by the light.

Fearful no more.

Robin is very good at that....

Mono Lake, Eastern Sierra, California

A seagull swimming in Mono Lake, a saline lake on the eastern side of California. The formations on the left are tufa towers, calcium carbonate deposits created by up-welling springs. The towers were revealed after the lake's water levels dropped when the city of Los Angeles started drawing more water than could be replaced. A growing public uproar and lawsuits in the 1980s resulted in the stablization of the lake's water level.

As for the sea gull, I had had other plans that morning, but since the bird was not going anywhere, I made it part of the composition. Sometimes I do that with people as well.

Explored September 21, 2015

Here are some wide open apple blossoms, and some partially opened blossoms.

...nicht immer leicht - in diesem Fall aber schon, denn ich folge einfach dem röter werdenden Farbton bis zum Herzen der Architektur ;-)
