All seems set for a round of speed skating at the Vlaardingervaart, the old shipping canal that connects Vlaardingen with Schipluiden and Delft.
Unfortunately the ice is still thin and temperatures are already on the rise again, so probably no show soon.

re-edited for 2023 Both photos were shot at the same f-stop and shutter speed, yet this photo is definitely sharper. Proof that camera shake can ruin critical focus and how different lighting can effect the sharpness of your image.
Ever wonder what it would be like to be part of the stage crew for a great singer. For a moment I was back stage watching this star, Eastern Meadowlark give the performance of her life. Obviously the audience was socially distanced.

Yesterday I attended a great gig, I hadn't seen Panos live for 20 years or so and this was so much worth it.
He sang almost all the great songs he and his brother wrote and also he and his guests sang Rolling Stones and Hendrix and Gallagher...
And then they paid a 30 minutes tribute to Dylan...
