SRMs were fun! Silver livery, fancy carpets, customised tickets and dedicated, all-round advertising. Only 25 were painted to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II. I managed to capture a few.
The Silver Jubilee was not widely appreciated at my school at the time and now we've been through the Platinum Jubilee.
