Nelsons Column, City of Westminster, London, United Kingdom
Trafalgar Square is a public square in the City of Westminster, Central London. It was laid out in the early 19th century around the area formerly known as Charing Cross. At its centre is a high column named Nelsons Column bearing a statue of Admiral Nelson commemorating the victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
The 169-foot (52 m) Nelson's Column at it's centre is guarded by four lion statues. A number of commemorative statues and sculptures also occupy the square.

A very controversial work that retains a special charm due to its extremely rigid geometries that recall the arches of the Colosseum.
Colosseo quadrato
Un opera molto discussa che conserva però un fascino speciale dato dalle sue geometrie estremamente rigide che ricordano però gli archi del Colosseo.

"Man is a tool-using animal. Weak in himself and of small stature, he stands on a basis of some half square foot, has to straddle out his legs lest the very winds supplant him. Neverless, he can use tools, devise tools; with these the granite mountain melts into light dust before him; seas are his smooth highway, wind and fire his unwearying steeds. Nowhere do you find him without tools. Without tools he is nothing, with tools he is all."

Shambles Square is a square in Manchester, England, created in 1999 around the rebuilt Old Wellington Inn and Sinclair's Oyster Bar next to The Mitre Hotel. (Wiki)
"Shambles" was a name originally used for a street of butchers shops where meat was slaughtered and sold. It is derived from the Middle English word schamel, which meant a bench, as for displaying meat for sale!
In 1974, most of the old property between Shudehill and Market Street was demolished to accommodate the new Arndale Shopping Centre. The Old Shambles was underpinned with a concrete raft and, according to the Greater Manchester County Records Office, jacked-up 4 feet 9 inches to fit in with this development in the newly created Shambles Square. In June 1996, an IRA bomb exploded in nearby Corporation Street and badly damaged many of the surrounding buildings, but the Old Shambles was protected by the concrete buildings around it and suffered only minimal damage. Red Square from the bridge, Moscow, Russia. I chose to crop to a square format, the scene to the right of the frame was an apocalyptic mess of cranes and supernova construction lights, the site of the former hotel Rossiya which is supposed to be transformed into a park.

Hummingbird stickers on the window. Some sort of structure in the Noyo Harbor. A small building with the door covered in weeds.

Red, green and yellow chilly in a spaghetti bowl, curves wherever you look, even the bowl used as back ground.
By the way, I like the tableware from Villeroy & Boch - Manufacture Rock as a background for food photos, because of the diffuse reflection and the structure.
For those of you who don’t know, I’ve started to bake sourdough. This was something which started in and came from lockdown. My journey was challenging. The making of the ‘starter’ was the most complex and indeed my first starter went in the bin. I persevered. For a little while I was taking photos of weekly makes and I’m still baking one or two each week and I have improved.
I had a bit of a breakthrough last bake and have to report this was the best bake ever! So I’m sharing with you for this week’s challenge. This is my B in square format.
