A bit of a miserable day, or as my dad used to say "Nice weather..... for ducks". Well here they are enjoying the weather.
Built in 1960, this Modern International-style building was constructed to house the offices of the Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Springfield, and later housed the offices of AT&T. The building features a red brick exterior with exposed concrete floor plates at the facades with large glass storefronts, concrete columns exposed at the first floor, ribbon windows. To the rear is a New Formalist rear wing, added circa 1980, which features travertine trim and travertine-clad columns flanked by vertical window bays and red brick panels, with a recessed first floor clad in dark brick. The building today is vacant.

Something else I want to do this year, competitive shooting. I need to practice to get my speed up but I love going to the shooting range. We don't get to go that often but I love it.
