I very unintentionally took a photo like this every year since 2014 – I guess this is just what this time of the year always feels like. :)

Bryant Park
----------
Beginning in 1823, Bryant Park was designated a potter's field
(a graveyard for the poor). It remained so until 1840, when thousands of bodies were moved to Ward's Island.
Bryant Park is located over an underground structure that houses the New York Public Library's archives, which were built in the 1980s when the park was excavated. The new library facilities were built below ground level while the park was restored above it.

This shot might have turned up in my video, but I did so many takes from this position on so many different days that it is confusing now. Anyway, while you don't see water spraying up here, it does in the completed video, which is now up on YouTube.
This is a frame capture from HD video using my Motorola Moto g fast smartphone. It's not only the video camera I have that shoots slow motion, it's also the only kind of camera allowed in the Americana, which means only smartphones for photos are allowed there.

A hazy late afternoon view of Ayers Rock (Uluru) from the Talinguru viewing area. We had looked all around the rock this day; feeling hot and tired it was nice to sit in the shade and admire this wonderful sight.
I talked my husband into taking a gravel road just to see what we might find. When we were up on the hill I could see bright orange color among the trees. Went to check it out and this is what we found - perfect for this weeks challenge. Look close and you can see the window trim is the same color. I didn't play with it in photoshop..............:) However, I did try out one of my new graduating neutral filters, love it.

This morning started out very cloudy, so when I saw the sun break through for a moment earlier today I took my opportunity to get outside and shoot some of the droplets from last night's rain with the sunlight.
I think I'll always be a sucker for droplets in sunlight, I find them so pretty.
Luckily, the sun came out again this afternoon and I've spent the majority of my day enjoying that. It's a bit chilly and the wind is up but that sunshine makes being outside wonderful. I really am enjoying the signs of spring as they appear. I hope this pattern continues, and the snowflakes I saw earlier on were just a fluke.
Hope everyone has had a good Friday.
