Cornish, Maine.

Panorama view of the sunset from Highland Farms in Cornish today.

After heavy rains on Friday into Saturday giving us over an inch of rain today was the first real spring like day that we have had since Spring started.

It was partly cloudy but we also had a good bit of sun today with the temperature getting up to a very comfortable 62°F and with the recent rain our snow has melted quite a bit.

Hopefully we have finally turned the corner into spring leaving winter behind us. (:>)

This is our current avatar. We did a study to replicate a similar shot to replace our original avatar from 2006. Here's a link to "good ol' faithful"

I've been digging through the drawers of my old room at my parents' house, looking for a film I scanned a long time ago, and this is one of those I found - taken almost nine years ago.

Here's the main street in my hometown, on a warm sunny day sometime in May 2009.

Taken with Yashica Electro 35 GSN camera, on now long gone DM Paradies 100 film. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 dedicated film scanner via VueScan 9.5.

The camera is in an inoperable state, battery terminals are corroded, it works in fully unpowered mode, without the light meter, at fixed 1/500 shutter speed.
