Spring days for a Red Squirrel cracking an acorn

Första varma vårdagen med gassande och värmande sol. Så skönt efter en kall vinter och vår.

Mitt bidrag till Fotosöndag på temat ”människor”.

☀️☀️☀️

First warm spring day with gassing and warming sun. So nice after a cold winter and spring.

My contribution to Photo Sunday on the theme "people".

Ever Since I saw the Natalia Fatale Make me Blush ensemble I wanted to create my own version of a negligée robe for my dolls. In fact I had this idea even before that when I wanted to create a Lana Del Rey outfit from one of her videos , High by the Beach:

Over recent weeks I have developed this pattern using the pleated skirt and the full sleeves so I thought I could adapt it to make the robe that had been lingering in my head for so long. The tie top was a bit experimental. I didn't know how I was going to do it at the outset - it is one of those things that happened 'in the doing'. I'm really pleased with how it turned out - especially the sexy 'peek-a-boo' effect!

Finally, I really wanted my beautiful Ocean Drive Agnes to be the model for this outfit. Not only is her skin tone perfect to set off the pale powder blue, she also has a blue sheen to her eyeshadow and I thought that would be a perfect match.

Anyhow, I have rambled on a lot about this. I hope you like my new creation!

After heavy rains on Friday into Saturday giving us over an inch of rain today was the first real spring like day that we have had since Spring started.

It was partly cloudy but we also had a good bit of sun today with the temperature getting up to a very comfortable 62°F and with the recent rain our snow has melted quite a bit.

Hopefully we have finally turned the corner into spring leaving winter behind us. (:>)

It's a sign of my age. I worry more about the descent from Beamsley on the bike than the climb up! But, a glorious Pennine day.

Milton, DE

So it actually looks like spring in Milton, DE. There are daffodils in bloom and many of the trees are flowering.....then I head back to Ephrata, PA and it's snowing again. Isn't it April????

My sister taking her sanctioned 'morning constitutional' in Southampton and an atmospheric moment in the early Spring sunlight.

when you reach the end there is sometimes just a bit more...

It's that time of the year again. The hills are turning their golden tones and all of the winter growth is quickly fading away. I found these California poppies along the road close to my home a few weeks back. They have since been mowed down as they were growing in an area of fire danger.
