I visited this field in Sherfield-on-Loddon today at the side of the River. Last year it was full of Ragged Robin and buttercups. This year - just buttercups and some clover. I suppose the Ragged Robin must be biennial. A pity but still lovely meadow. I am hoping they will not build on it.

There's no stopping it once it starts I suppose. I love springtime! I really do, but here in Virginia it seems to last about 30 seconds and then the heat and humidity roll in along with Mowing grass and other forms of outdoor torture work.

But for now I will close my eyes to all that and just enjoy the flowers. LOL Have a wonderful day everyone!
