So happy to have celebrated Daylight Savings yesterday..my favorite holiday..out of the dark ages and into the light : )
I went to bed last night feeling great, I finished work early, enjoyed a film then went to bed early. I do this every week and generally wake up on the Sunday feeling refreshed. Today, however, I’m shattered! The clocks changed to British Summer Time during the night which meant I lost an hour, the sea state changed yesterday evening, we’ve rolling and banging all night which caused me to lose a couple more. All in I am lucky if I managed 4 hours sleep last night. It is still really rough today so we’re all feeling a bit green. I’m away for a cup of tea, no spring in my step today!

Dear Flickr friends, the Integrity International Design Challenge is over for me, I'm not a finalist but I really enjoyed participating.

Since I had to sell my Spring Forward Eugenia others took over her youthful fashions. I found that Metallic Moment top is the exact same yellow as SF blouse and Summer Magic Poppy shoes are the exact same blue as SF skirt. I think the fashions work so well as mix and match Misaki clothes.
I love this girl SO much =) She used to be Spring Forward Eugenia, untill Jon repainted her eyeshadow, and I cut her bangs!
(Magnificent!) Eugenia is wearing the jacket from Mais Oui Giselle, skirt from Barbie, shoes from mini Androgyny, and necklace from Blue Blood Elise Jolie.
Isn't she fabuous? =)
It's time to spring your clocks forward! Listen - we know technically "THEY" say you get an hour less sleep, but think of how light and bright it will be still after practice in the evenings! We'd say it's a win-win. WARMER WEATHER IS COMING!
Yep - I finished them! Finally! The end was a bit of a hard slog - kept dropping stitches and doing random yarn-overs in the toe of the second sock, and when I finally got to the end, I realised that I'd messed up the toe of the first sock by leaving out a bunch of knit rows between the decreases, so I had to completely undo that toe once the second sock was finished (and believe me, I never want to have to do that again) and redo it. Finally finished it (after a few random errors and unknittings and reknittings and so on) last night and wearing them today - comfy! Looking forward to starting on my second pair - got yarn and pattern all lined up, but for now something a bit simpler as an interlude, I think!
Photo taken by djeli with his lovely new camera.

She is also sporting a new FR2 body (I became addicted)

In the UK the clocks went forward 1 hour at 1am on 31st March, moving from Greenwich Mean Time to British Summer Time!
In Wimborne Minster there is an astronomical clock (shown above) with the sun and moon orbiting the earth, which dates back to the year 1320. It was built by a monk named Peter Lightfoot at Glastonbury in Somerset.
The sun points to the time of day (there is no minute hand), and the gold/black orb represents the moon and shows the phases of the moon. When there is a full moon, it will be completely golden (like today!) and when there is an eclipse it will be completely black. The intermediate phases such as half-moon or a three- quarters moon, will be correspondingly shown as half black and half gold or three-quarters gold and a quarter black etc.
The casing on the wall holds the cogs, which move the sun and moon around the face of the clock, but the actual works are in the belfry.
Attached to the clock is a full size Grenadier, called the Quarterjack (shown below), which strikes the quarter hours. This figure is on the north wall outside the Minster. The original figure was that of a monk, but this was replaced during the Napoleonic War.
After 6 months of planning, Canadian Forces personnel from 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta board a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-177 Globemaster for NORAD's (North American Aerospace Defense Command) Operation SPRING FORWARD 2014 to various locations in Canada's North in April 2014.
