It's Bird:30 time of the year.
These bobble head birds love 'spring' time when they can jump one hour ahead..
From the newest issue of Knitty, a simple lace sock done with Dream in Color Smooshy sock yarn. I keep it in my purse, so unfortunately it smells like scented tampons right now. Blech.

Change your smoke detector batteries when you change your clocks. Daylight savings time ends on Nov. 2. For years, fire safety experts have used the slogan “change your clocks, change your batteries” as a handy way to remember to keep your smoke detectors in good shape.

Linda Welch’s Knitty pattern for Spring Forward Socks. Knit in Artyarns Ultramerino 4 in an orange striped colorway. Knit on number 1 double pointed needles. I was running out of yarn so knitting the foot in plain stockinette.
03.08.2015: This time change thing makes me groggy for at least a week afterwards. They should give us the week off from work so we can adjust.

Rather than moving the contraflow bus lane on Spring Street between Chavez and 1st Street over to Main Street, LADOT has this diagonal crossing to get the parking protected bike lane on the left side of One-Way Spring Street, removing bus stop conflicts.
