After the explosions were over, we stuck around and played for a little bit. The 3 kids, Peter, Lili and Mimi jumped on a piece of ice, trying to break off the edge. When the whole thing cracked and broke off, there were squeels and cries. It was one of the highlights of my day there.
Warrior Country holds its annual Spring Festival on Camp Red Cloud's Village Green parade field in Uijeongbu April 3. Hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst and other food was served free. The Festival was hosted by the U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I Chaplain Office, in partnership with the USO, Red Cross, Area I family readiness groups, and the 2nd Infantry Division's Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion.
