Springfest is an annual tradition at UIS. Teams of students compete in events ranging from trivia night to flag football. Of course, no Springfest would be complete without the final event, tug of war over the infamous mud pit. Seventeen teams participated in Springfest 2007.

This week the most popular tradition on campus takes place: Springfest. All week, more than 50 teams (a record number) will be competing in a variety of competitions, including a scavenger hunt, flag and chant, and sports day. Sports day is the last day of the competition, and ends in the beloved mud tug of war.
