It's that time of year at the University of Illinois Springfield! Time for Springfest! This year's theme is The Springfest Games. The weeklong event kicked off with a scavenger hunt that had participants running all over campus looking for items.

The UIS Chemistry Club sponsored an Egg Drop bonus event. Participants were given a limited number of items (cotton balls, tape, coffee filters, etc.) and tried to create a structure that could keep an egg safe from cracking during a fall. Hopes were high as teams waited to see whether their egg would survive. Most of the time it didn't.
The annual Springfest competition took place at the University of Illinois Springfield. This year's theme was Clash of the Comics and teams participated in a variety of events throughout the week, including a scavenger hunt, flag and chant, and sports day.
