Springfest is an annual tradition at UIS. Teams of students compete in events ranging from trivia night to flag football. Of course, no Springfest would be complete without the final event, tug of war over the infamous mud pit. Seventeen teams participated in Springfest 2007.

The annual Springfest competition took place at the University of Illinois Springfield. This year's theme was Clash of the Comics and teams participated in a variety of events throughout the week, including a scavenger hunt, flag and chant, and sports day.

The Undergraduate Association cleaned out their closets and sold leftover t-shirts, mittens, mugs, and more for $1 at a garage sale. All proceeds were donated to Mary’s Place, a local organization that serves refugee children and their families.
