Since I had an extra day off this weekend and no real plans for today I decided to shoot while the sun was coming up this morning.
It never changes, my fascination with the lawn as the day comes awake. Especially a dewy lawn, so by 6 this morning I was out enjoying the tranquillity that my neighbourhood only possesses before the world wakes up and taking in the glimmer of the dew on the grass.
Not a bad way to start a day, especially a Monday away from work!

Shot taken this afternoon through the canopy of a Horse Chestnut Tree in the sun the fleshness of the new leaves was just stunning.
Half Moon Bay began as a rural agricultural area, primarily used by Mission San Francisco de AsÃs (established in 1776) for grazing of cattle, horses, and oxen
The community began to develop in the 1840s as San Mateo County's first real town. It is a thriving fishing industry in addition to its continued importance to coastal agriculture.
