I talked my husband into taking a gravel road just to see what we might find. When we were up on the hill I could see bright orange color among the trees. Went to check it out and this is what we found - perfect for this weeks challenge. Look close and you can see the window trim is the same color. I didn't play with it in photoshop..............:) However, I did try out one of my new graduating neutral filters, love it.

On one beautiful springday

I noticed this lady sat looking across Stowe Pool, Lichfield City centre, on a Sunny but Windy early spring day

A hazy late afternoon view of Ayers Rock (Uluru) from the Talinguru viewing area. We had looked all around the rock this day; feeling hot and tired it was nice to sit in the shade and admire this wonderful sight.

This morning started out very cloudy, so when I saw the sun break through for a moment earlier today I took my opportunity to get outside and shoot some of the droplets from last night's rain with the sunlight.

I think I'll always be a sucker for droplets in sunlight, I find them so pretty.

Luckily, the sun came out again this afternoon and I've spent the majority of my day enjoying that. It's a bit chilly and the wind is up but that sunshine makes being outside wonderful. I really am enjoying the signs of spring as they appear. I hope this pattern continues, and the snowflakes I saw earlier on were just a fluke.

Hope everyone has had a good Friday.

The Story: This mom (Aurelia) and baby (Aurelio) alpaca lurked in the background unlike some other members of the herd that came right up to the fence to eat the spaghetti and meatballs I brought them for lunch. (Wink) I think mom was worried about baby. They were willing to pose for a shot after I had Dairy Queen ice cream cones delivered to them in the field. Just like alpaca...

pheasant from my kitchenwindow !!!!!!!!!!

I love my local forest park (which is where I'm heading off to shortly) and back in May, the birds were very photogenic, but only if you spotted them...

This gorgeous little wren barely moved and blended into it's background so well that I thought it switched to stealth mode!! It reminded me of that game we used to play... 1, 2, 3 Red Lights! you know when you turn around and everyone stops moving LOL

Thank you for the views, comments and faves, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by :)

Wishing you all a very happy Saturday :)

The jacaranda blossoms are gone now, but when I shot this photo they were at their height. I would have posted this and the others sooner, but, you know, there was the lockdown, the boarding up and the BLM rally.

The green leaves and the older brownish leaves make a nice contrast against the purple jacaranda blossoms.

Enjoy!
