This little Kookaburra has started visiting my garden every day. He sits in a tree very quietly, just watching me. I'm amazed that I haven't heard him 'laughing' yet, it could be that he's still so young, I'm not sure. One things for certain, he certainly likes to be photographed.

I have giggle my head off at Caleb, with that " Cool Cat" pose he gave ...
It is the little things in life, that will someday, be the BIG THINGS ...
I intend on fully enjoying them now, for they grow up ever so quickly ....

Easter Day ...

After an exceptionally wet winter, the SoCal hills are covered in wildflowers. It has been said that this was the year of the "super-bloom." It doesn't matter where you go, the hillsides are covered in yellows, oranges, pinks and purples. It has been well over a month now since our last real rain and the gold tones are starting to take over the grassy areas again.
Visitors stand near the gift shop and entrance to RoozenGaarde, a tulip farm in the Skagit Valley near Mount Vernon, Washington. . Each spring, during the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, the farm host hundreds of visitors who come to see the dazzling displays of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and other bulb flowers.
Founded in 1985 by the Roozen family and the Washington Bulb Company, RoozenGaarde spans over 1,200 acres of blooming fields and includes 15 acres of greenhouses. The business was established by William Roozen, a Dutch immigrant who arrived in 1947 with extensive experience in the flower bulb industry.

More than you want to know
I first downloaded to iPhoto library because I'm still getting used to Aperture's organization and then transferred it to A. library....most of the photo information did not transfer to Aperture, and iPhoto does not keep as detailed info that I would like....so there are glitches in Aperture.
From what I'm reading on Aperture 3.2.3 update and Lion coordination I'm glad I'm holding off on updating..If you're using a pc this will make no sense to you....in fact you'll not be reading this:).....
