The two little black dots near the bottom of the photo are sleeping baby cows. The other black dots are various other cows and baby cows milling about. It's baby cow season here and every mother has a new baby for the most part.
Hover fly buzzing away. I took ages to get some shots of this very fidgety little insect. The sunshine today certainly has brought them out.
...humming this tune as I sat on the bank viewing this, a gentle flow of water....level so low this year, not able to rush downstream.

More than you want to know
I first downloaded to iPhoto library because I'm still getting used to Aperture's organization and then transferred it to A. library....most of the photo information did not transfer to Aperture, and iPhoto does not keep as detailed info that I would like....so there are glitches in Aperture.
From what I'm reading on Aperture 3.2.3 update and Lion coordination I'm glad I'm holding off on updating..If you're using a pc this will make no sense to you....in fact you'll not be reading this:).....
Some localized rain squalls are seen in the Takhini River Valley just north west of Whitehorse in Southern Yukon. A beautiful spring day!
