Fresh out of the camera and there will likely be more to shoot tomorrow. The Iris appear ready to make up for the lackluster performance of the Daffodils and Crocus up here on the tundra. The miniature Iris didn't bloom at all this year but most of the big ones are loaded with buds.
In case you are curious, this one smells even better than it looks.
...and so have I my fine flickr friends...sprung back ;) I have been absent from photography, flickr and Instagram, social media as I have been living through 'interesting times' over the last couple of months. Luckily I did not feel I was missing out on anything photographically as the winter has been very bland here - no surf, no skies, no nothing.
I emerged from my metaphorical 40 days in the Desert this week with a lighter heart and a Spring back in my step. The ocean responded in kind with some wonderful waves and surf over the last few days with the beginning of Spring here in Bondi.
On March 5, 2020 I was visiting my son at King of Prussia, PA. We went to lunch at Broadcasting Square in Wyomissing, PA. Along the building where we were eating I found nature to be budding. I whipped out my IPhone 11 Pro and started to take photo images. I would come back later and take more images with my Canon Rebel. I thought these taken with my IPhone were worth posting first. Maple leaves starting out with a reddish tinge, then turn green for the summer only to return to red in the fall.

Are you chasing spring as well? It’s still a bit cold and windy here in Chicago and the weather feels really flip floppy but I’m happy that spring is finally here! On my way to work I decided to quickly run to the south side and potentially get something interesting. What do you think?
