Spring fever is when people walk the harbour walls in the evenings, boats buzz by after a day out fishing, gulls are squawking mid air, geese are flying off and water is lapping at the edge. Bring it on!
This Spring/Summer I had the enjoyment to walk around my neighborhood, the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, and in my own front and back yard! The Lilac Bushes are in both my front yard and my back yard. Spring is such a beautiful time of year when nature brings us new life! Summer carries it on. At least that's what the calendar says anyway. I had 8 inches of wet, sloppy, heavy as concrete snow yesterday morning! We all tell ourselves that we badly need the moisture, which is true, but we are also anxious to get a move on!
