“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” – Mother Teresa
Crazy Tuesday: a crazy macro/or close up (Trying to keep these sprinkles all together was driving me a bit crazy as these wayward ones certainly had a mind of their own...)
Thanks for your visit! HCT!

A Cormorant stand in the classic pose drying its wings in the sun on Aberdeen harbour wall after a dive
It feels great to be able to take off and explore the world at your will like this Monarch. We are on another road trip. Although we are not flying anywhere, we are exploring at our will. This time we are spending time with our granddaughters who we haven’t seen in a year. They are certainly spreading their wings and becoming more confident and independent. We gave them our old DSLR cameras to go on a few photography outings with us. The girls are 9 and 11 years old. They are catching on pretty quick. One of them is intrigued with the effects that a shallow depth of field can give, like with this image. They are using the Olympus E-620 and the Canon 60D. I love going through their images and seeing their version of the world. Once I get home, I’ll download their favourite shots and put them into a mini book for them for Christmas. I am pleasantly distracted again from Flickr. I will catch up later. Happy Wing Wednesday!
Hello Everyone,
Zinnias are one of my favourite cutflowers and the show of zinnias was terrific this year! (They like heat)! While out walking, I spotted a house that sported zinnias along the sidewalk, around the home, along the driveway and just about everywhere! I didn't have my camera so I used my phone for the shot. Then, I couldn't help but have a little fun with these already joyful flowers.

This Turkey Vulture was seen "spreading its wings" on a pine tree at Lake Balboa, Van Nuys Ca. Resting between its "clean up" efforts !
there’s so much beauty in the world. there’s love and kindness, too. sometimes we forget, but we can remember together: love, kindness, and compassion radiate outward in beautiful ways.
C'est le même bécassin roux présenté dans ma photo précédente, volant juste au dessus de l'eau.

This is the same short-billed dowitcher presented in my previous photo, flying just over the water surface.

Yellow orange, pink; medium size flowers ½ wide.
Native to the West Indies and South America.
I find cormorants to be very attractive. Their webbed feet and diver plumage grab my eyes. Attracted by salmon runs, they have become nuisances to wildlife biologists.
The past few days, my garden has been aflutter with these beautiful creatures... the minute I see them, I run out with my camera in hopes to spot one of mine that I tagged... or one from another area.... but so far I haven't.... but that doesn't stop me from taking tons of pictures!!
Misterious flower - it spreads pestilentially in the garden and belongs to a species of clover and is only a few millimeters in size. To photograph it full frame I used retrorings and put the Allround Zoom 24 -70 mm in reverse position. During the whole procedure I shaded the flower and it started to close.
