A flanger sets flies through the fresh powder caused by storms from the previous days. The flanger had the blade down and was kicking up lots of snow which would kick right into the faces of me and a friend. A few seconds later we heard the radio go off, “Nice, I just sprayed those guys.”

Giant spray paint cans will provide the canvas for more street art in central Christchurch.
The cans are the first arrivals to a new public space, due to open by the end of October, on the corner of Lichfield and Manchester streets in the East Frame.
It will have a youth area with basketball court and chill-out space, office space for the Canterbury Youth Workers Collective and Christchurch Youth Council, the Kākano Cafe and cookery school and a community-run car park.
A few shots that didn't get posted at the time looking back on 2018.
Class 37's dominated the North East RHTT turn this year with only a few of the later runs being picked up by a class 66 combination. 37069 and 059 seemed to be the favoured pairing and they are seen here heading the return leg of the 3S77 Kingmoor to Kingmoor RHTT working having passed under Hexham signal box on the 11th November 2018.

Golden spray. Longwood Gardens has its annual 'Orchid Extravaganza' display over the next six weeks. This is always spectacular and this year is no exception.
I make no apology for trying to capture the beauty of these magnificent flowers and posting a number of orchid shots over the next month or so.

Celle ci est intitulée : « Sprayed life » .
Un hommage à la seule discipline où la vie s’exprime au travers des bombes .

Always nice when the first rays hit the mountains . those little black specs on the lake are people ice fishing . the wind was strong so i hope they caught something.
How fitting that this empty spray can lay at the feet of this photographer to find. Looks like this artist was very busy indeed.
