B&W conversion via Gorman, Tri-X 400 Film "Grain" applied. Interestingly, adding the "Film Grain" shifted the colour of this photo more into the sepia range - an effect I liked, so I left it that way.

 

End of the Jan 2007 set. The sets will be getting smaller and smaller from here on, a reflection of the fact that I really haven't been out shooting for most of 2007.

A winter storm blew a tree over near my apartment and I thought the splinters looked cool

So, I really hated the paint job, I also really hated the fu-manchu and top-knot, so I went barber on Master Splinter and topped it off with a fresh paint job.

A part of this huge tree had broken off, leaving intersting splinters - and -- it seems, an eye peering out! whose, I wonder?

On the drive to our friends' house I spotted this shadow and I pulled over. My wife and daughters patiently waited in the car as I jumped out to take the photograph. This one is all about the angle. Not only did I prefer not being hit by car while standing in the street, but I also liked the fractured appearance of the tree's shadow. Sometimes a shadow just grabs you. Thanks for taking a look!!
