At 350mm for Day 350. Yes, the exif says 360mm but it was at 250mm with a Kenko 1.4 TC. The camera got it wrong ;-)

Last weekend while out on a nature walk with my family, I came upon this particular tree that I found rather interesting, and coupled with the brilliant blue sky as a backdrop, I thought it made for a cool photo.

Diese Zeilen fallen mir immer dann ein wenn ich Rosen die viele Dornen/ Stacheln haben.
Die Rose hatte unglaublich viele große und kleine Dornen die sehr hart und spitz waren. Als Geschenk für die vielen kleinen Pickse verströmen sie einen wunderbaren feinen Duft. Für das heutig Thema Spiky genau richtig.
Seid achtsam, haltet Abstand und tragt bitte eine Maske, abgekürzt "AHA+ L" Dann kommen wir auch gut durch die Zeit.

"Did a Knap see a rose....! A poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, which was set to music by the composer Franz Schubert, among others!
These lines always come to my mind when I see roses that have many thorns/ thorns.
The rose had unbelievable many thorns, big and small, which were very hard and pointed. As a present for the many small picks they exude a wonderful fine fragrance. Just right for today's theme Spiky.
Be careful, keep your distance and please wear a mask, abbreviated "AHA+ L".

Ces lignes me viennent toujours à l'esprit quand je vois des roses qui ont beaucoup d'épines/épines.
La rose avait un nombre incroyable de grandes et petites épines très dures et pointues. En guise de cadeau pour les nombreux petits pics, ils dégagent un merveilleux parfum fin. Pour le thème d'aujourd'hui, Spiky est parfait.
Faites attention, gardez vos distances et portez un masque, abrégé "AHA+ L".

Yesterday I was out for a walk in the field looking for dry cocoons with lots of thorns but this burdock plant full of flowers pleasantly surprised me (previous photo in my photostream).
Taken with Helios 44-4 58mm, macro ring 31mm, manual focus.

Three inch length of some metal African spears. From Sudan I believe. The center one is wickedly spiky. One of many collections I retrieved after my father passed away. Not sure what to do with these!
This is one of two anemones blooming in my garden at the moment. The blossoms, with thier intense colours are beautiful from the distance already. But I'm faszinated of the world inside. Its like a visit on a foreign planet.
