Blue Gray Gnatcatcher in Chester County, PA on 4/9/2020. Definitely a case of content over quality but I thought it was interesting to capture this behavior

Thanks for viewing my photos, I really appreciate you taking the time, and for the faves and comments you make thank you.
I was hoping this spider was a bit more exotic, but found out this Black and Yellow Garden Spider (Argiope australis) is a common spider and is a member of the orb-web group of spiders. The larger female has a yellow and black scalloped abdomen.
They are Everywhere! The worst is when you are on a riding lawn mower and don't see it in time and the next thing you know, it's plastered all over you face! Yikes! (yes has happened to me!) This one was safely in the barn window catching some early morning rays. Today we are off to church in Roanoke and then going westward for two days of camping in West Virginia. If you never hear from me again, it's because Anita couldn't get me back up off the ground. I think I do Glam-camping better! It will be interesting if nothing else! If there are no new pictures Sunday and Monday it will be due to no internet which may be a bigger hardship to me than sleeping on the ground. Seriously, what am I thinking??? LOL I think I will have WiFi on Sat but we shall see...... Happy Sabbath and have a fabulous weekend everyone! :)
