Two years ago around this time I was getting some good spider web shots ..... not this year , for some reason. so here's one from 2018 !! Berks County, Pennsylvania

So this particular spider constructed an amorphous web, not a pretty spiral like an orb weaver. This made for some interesting effects in the sun with a fairly open aperture...

There were actually three spiderwebs about a couple of feet apart extended from railing to railing across my deck steps. only two were illuminated.

Reflected sunlight has this Great blue heron in silhouette and the aquatic plants are draped with sagging spider webs at Caddo Lake. It would be hard to pick a favorite of the dawn pontoon boat excursions, they all featured excellent views and wildlife.
