A spherized iPhone image of a Rowan tree (complete with berries!). The Rowan tree is also known as a Mountain Ash.
Spherized in Photoshop with Flaming Pear's 'Flexify' filter and textured with the Topaz 'Curly Smooth' filter.
I interrupt the “past vacation shots never posted” programming to bring you a special announcement. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a video before, but when you record concrete proof of an alien encounter, you just HAVE to make it public! While government officials have tried to debunk this evidence by saying it’s just the Sphere in Las Vegas, that sounds like a cover up to me.
Happy Halloween!

So it should come as no surprise that the feature colour in my house is red.
I have many red items inside which are mostly on my standby list especially with Winter approaching, but today as I walked down stairs I noticed the way the light was streaming through the blinds onto my bowl of spheres and I really liked the stripes and patterns it was creating. Todays shot sorted!
On closer inspection of this, I realised I should have dusted them off first . . . but in my defence I've had two malamutes in the house!
I had an armed guardian to obtain this image of the sphere. Late at night is not safe in certain parts of Las Vegas, and this is one of those places. View is amazing, but nothing stood out more than me in sweatpants holding onto my Canon. No time for tripod or much composition. Only few minutes and we were already approached by two people wanting my camera.
I feel much safer in nature, with wildlife.
Nothing like a stress ball, macro study with pink background. 'Flickr logo" colours.

Sphere (also called Sphere at the Venetian Resort) is a music and entertainment arena in Paradise, Nevada, United States, east of the Las Vegas Strip. Designed by Populous, the project was announced by the Madison Square Garden Company in 2018, known then as the MSG Sphere. The 18,600-seat auditorium is being marketed for its immersive video and audio capabilities, which include a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen, speakers with beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies, and 4D physical effects. The venue's exterior also features 580,000 sq ft (54,000 m2) of LED displays. Sphere measures 366 feet (112 m) high and 516 feet (157 m) wide. The arena cost $2.3 billion, making it the most expensive entertainment venue built in Las Vegas.
A solitary reflective sphere stands at the end of the promenade, mirroring the quiet geometry of the coast beneath a brooding sky. Captured in black and white, the image leans into symmetry, negative space, and atmosphere—where smooth concrete lines guide the eye toward a single focal point suspended between sea and cloud. The absence of people amplifies the stillness, allowing form, texture, and reflection to speak for themselves.

The subject is a massage slipper or acupressure slipper. These massaging spheres are in the insole region. The slipper is of hard plastic and is transparent.
There are 3 light sources , the room's ceiling light, a table study light at 10 o'clock and a small LED torchlight providing the backlighting.
