I love and collect little boxes. This is one of my favorites from my hinged box collection.

For my Flickr groups…

“A Little Tale”...

The Woodland Wizard’s little cottage... was stuffy, dusty, and the air was stale, plus it was darker than normal. The winter had been unusually long, cold, and harsh. The wizard felt confined and unable to think.

What he needed was fresh air…lots of it. But, he had so much to do. He was behind in his Spellwork, updating his Grimoire, and making his tinctures, potions, and elixirs. His crystals needed cleaning and his crystal balls needed reenergizing too... The long cold winter had made him lazy and dull…

Cleaning was out of the question. He had neither time nor inclination for that nonsense. He was, after all, a wizard.

He looked at his Spellwork “To Do” list, chose a few of the “priority spells”, gathered up the key ingredients needed, and put them on his wooden tray from the Propria Tree along with his directional fork made from Rorvar wood… He grabbed his old worn favorite cup and a bottle of his favorite Hobbit Tea...

So, with his overloaded tray… the Woodland Wizard, walking slowly and struggling to keep the tray with all its contents on it steady, headed towards his front door.

He found it rather difficult to balance the tray and get the “blasted” door opened, especially since he had opened it but a few times during the winter months and now it was a bit stuck. He struggled with the tray as all its contents teetered and wobbled as he pulled at the door until it opened.

The door sprang open at last and sunlight rushed into his small dusty and stale little cottage…

As he stepped outside into the spring air and light, he turned and glanced back as his cottage. The sunlight illuminated the inside and he saw dust everywhere all the way up to his rafters. Even the robe he was wearing was covered in dust and made a “poof” sound when touched.

“Well”, he thought, “I will leave the door opened and let the fresh air with its wind dust the place for me....”

Featuring the Roja “Bewitched Bikini Fatpack” now at the July Progeny Mall Round

They said a witch didn’t belong at the shore.

Too wild. Too pale. Too wrapped in shadows and ink.

But I came anyway.

The morning sun rose slow and heavy, draping itself over the salt-stained sky. I laid out my woven mat...a little scrap of sea-worn cloth patterned with fish, frayed at the corners. The scent of brine and spellwork clung to my skin, and the sea, always listening, whispered secrets in return.

I wasn’t there to hex or haunt. I was there to breathe.

Wrapped in black, stitched in charm and confidence, the Bewitched Bikini by Roja made me feel less like an outcast and more like an omen. Soft straps curled around my hips, where old power slept beneath tattooed skin. The matching skirt wrap danced like seafoam, teasing the edge of decency, never quite touching the line.

It was more than swimwear. It was armor for a sun-drenched world that still believed witches should hide in the woods.

And so I didn’t. I stretched, sprawled, and soaked in the fire of the sun like it belonged to me.

A gull screamed. The waves hissed. My fingers traced ancient runes into the sand beside me, not to summon, not to curse… but to remember. Who I was. What I’ve survived.

The Roja Bewitched Bikini Fatpack, now featured at the July Progeny Mall Round, isn't just a wardrobe piece...it’s a rite of reclamation. With multiple color options and a flirtatious wrap skirt, it’s perfect for any being who dares to wear their power where it can be seen.

So come, sea-witch or sun-wanderer. Cast off your cloak. Let the world see you shimmer.

“A Little Tale”…

Most humans interchange the words “Enchanted Woods” with “Enchanted Forest” because they do not know any better. But, that is incorrect.

You see, the Enchanted Woods and the Enchanted Forest are not one in the same. The Enchanted Forest is part of the Enchanted Woods. It is located in the deepest regions of the Enchanted Woods where the trees are very tall and have numerous branches and leaves, thus, creating a sort of ceiling. Because of this ceiling of leaves and branches, very little sunlight filters through to the ground and, so the ground is covered in shade, shade loving plants and bushes, mushrooms, rotting leaves, ivy, and ferns.

This is where the earth elementals live, including Enchanted Forest fairies…

… Compared to the fairies that inhabit the Enchanted Woods, Enchanted Forest fairies are pale in complexion, but their hair and eyes are black. Their black eyes are a striking facial feature; they are very large and a very deep black color with long black lashes.

Enchanted Forest fairies live in fairy mounds with their entire family… every generation from the oldest to the youngest…, it can get rather noisy inside…

… So, most Enchanted Forest fairies, when it is time for them to do their magic, chose to leave their fairy mound home and work outside in their chosen secret spot where it is dark, damp, and quiet...

“A Little Tale”…

Everyone, especially big metropolitan city dwellers, think that living in a small town is idyllic. They believe it must be wonderful knowing all your neighbors, visiting them, socializing with them, knowing the local law enforcement, the teachers, coaching soccer, in walking distance of the Post Office, and feeling safe. Well, nothing could be farther from the truth.

I know because I live in a small town. My family has lived here for generations and generations before me. No one ever thinks of living anywhere else. Most small towns think small.

Why? Well, it may be because the small town inhabitants stay in their small town, isolated, and never learn or experience anything new from “the outside world”. So, they hold the same beliefs as their parents did and their grandparents. Nothing ever changes and they like it that way.

Plus, everyone does not get along as one would imagine in a small town. It is not like living in a Thomas Kincaid painting. Everyone knows all your business and there are no secrets. Plus, once you are pegged a certain way, that is how people think of you your entire life. So, if the town sees you as a nerd, well, you will always be the town nerd.

They do not question anything and have no desire to learn more or challenge their beliefs. They are content to be the same. Well, not me. I don’t belong here and I can’t figure out how I ended up being born here. I plan to get out. But, until then, I am learning all I can and expanding what I believe.

We have a library, if you can call it that, but, it is really a joke. It is attached to Ed’s gas station over on Elm Road by the big oak and there are probably only 150 or so books in it. And, as far as computers go, I think three people in the whole town own one and they are really really old.

If anyone knew what I was studying, well, I shudder to think. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was different and I believed in different things. I am fascinated by the moon and nature. I always felt myself being drawn to witchcraft.

So, since there are no witches in this small town and I don’t want anybody to know or even suspect, last summer, I went to one of the nearest big cities and they had a Barnes and Noble bookstore. Boy, I could not believe all the books, ideas, concepts, art, and music. And, there were so many books on witchcraft, it took me hours to pick the right one so I could learn it and practice it on my own until I got out of my town.

I have to study and practice in secret. It’s funny; no one pays attention to you until you have a secret. It is as if they can smell it on you. Then, all of a sudden, everyone’s eyes are on your every move. Nobody really paid much attention to me until I came back from the city that summer. Then, everyone seemed to be curious about me.

Maybe I smelled to them like a person from “the outside world”.

I live with my Dad. My Mom died years ago and my Dad works long hours in his pizza parlor. That is good for me because I am home alone a lot and I can study my craft and practice it.

I was able to get some items for my altar the second time I went to the big city. When my Dad’s at work, I set up my altar with what I have acquired so far and practice my spell work.

My altar, which is really a table that I painted and decorated myself, has really beautiful things on it. I made sure to buy really nice things, but, it does not have all the items a real witch has. But, nonetheless, it is a good one. I consecrated it and it I love it. It is set up and hidden in the back of my closet in my bedroom.

I study the moon, the seasons, and I, quietly to myself, observe the Sabbaths. I have my book on witchcraft practically memorized, which makes me think the Goddess is proud of me. I pray to her to help me get out of this town soon and I think I will. I have a new confidence about me. Finally, I am evolving into who I really am. And, when I leave this place, I will be able to practice my religion freely and openly away from spying eyes and judgmental people.

"Hear my desire,

it burns like a fire.

Hear my desire,

it burns like a fire..."

PH: Ottavia Di Leo

I created this set for my own dolls. I just love it. That is a horrible thing to say, but I do.

At first it was going to be an ornate vanity set, but, when I finished it and added my beloved tray, my last one, I just gazed at it and started to imagine all kinds of magical, enchanted, and medieval stories, plots, and tales involving wizards, evil witches, and devious queens and kings, just to name a few. I have 5 different stories written for each of my different imaging about it.

I love the lines, the contrasts, the ornate quality, the shapes and sizes of the bottles, and the real silver look. Plus, I adore that tray. None of the items are fixed to the tray so they can be interchanged with other bottles or the tray used for something else…even made into a mirror.

Ha! It is one of a kind. This is MY original idea, design, and creation.

Triple Crystal Pentacle Candle

-3.25” tall

-lead free cotton wick & vegetable based wax.

-blue, purple, & white drip candle with blue metallic powder, genuine moonstone crystals, & my Divination Oil (sage, lavender, cedar, & rosemary essential oils, along with wormwood, yarrow, willow, & mugwort)

-Adorned with 4 opalescent glass spheres for the 4 cardinal directions, 3 rutilated double pointed quartz points for the Triple Goddess, and a beautiful pentacle talisman. These are affixed with wax and may be easily removed for further spellwork once the candle is finished.

The vibratory power of stones, considered precious or otherwise, was held in high esteem by the ancient Magi, Alchemists, Qabalists, Astrologers, Egyptian Priests, Healers, etc. Down through the ages, they have valued, studied, and taught the virtues of powers attributed to stones. Stones are used in ceremony, ritual and spellwork to enchance ones aura and/or to be used in conjuction with other items; herbs, talismans, etc. to help bring about ones wishes, or to represent certain influences of nature

this is my reimagining of the concept through a different lens.

Done in Ai, Finalized in Photoshop

Bathed in the twilight of a forgotten realm, Veyra channels the cosmos through flame-kissed locks and eyes lit with starfire. A tome of bound secrets hums in her hands, erupting with violet sorcery that dances like living nebulae. Clad in dark velvet and bound by amethyst charms, she weaves the night itself into spellwork.

Just a silly little photo to capture the small things that make me happy about being in SL. In my house, there is a shrine to a fictional character that does not belong to me, and there are candles and offerings of adult magazines, blood, and hot wings. Pictures of other friends, a silly bear that spanks the naughty, and another small spellwork oriented item in between.

It doesn't make sense, but it doesn't need to, I suppose. It just makes me smile to log into collaborative hijinks.

Beau fans…

Hagatha, poor exhausted love of Beau, after all these hot and frustrating months of searching, trying, testing, and reading, has developed what she believes to be “The Spell” that will save her Beau from the evil Hubris and his love, Scarlett, who is now a pig due to a spell cast upon her.

She is beginning the preparations for the “The Spell”. Right now she is asleep and then will eat just a bit and take ritual bath and meditate. Afterwards, she will cast her circle and ready everything needed to cast the spell and, hopefully, stop Hubris’ relentless pursuit of Beau and his attempts to eliminate him.

They are a few things Hagatha can get ready before she has her ritual bath and meditates. This is one of them which she set up in the room she is going to use. (Gosh, I hope she is careful with ALL those candles and her flowing robes. Drapes Flambé is not welcome!)

So, in the next few days, she will, when the moon is right and all things are where they should be cosmically, cast her spell. That means Beau will be back in full swing and twirl, if the spell works, and life can get back to normal. You can follow some of Beau’s adventures in my Beau Set here in my Photostream.

Tomorrow I am having the fire department check all my fire extinguishers…just to be on the safe side. I mean, Hagatha has not cast a spell in about 400+ years. She may be rather rusty.

Spirit Pentacle Candle

-3.25” tall

-lead free cotton wick & vegetable based wax.

-blue, green, & white drip candle with blue-green metallic powder, genuine moonstone crystals, & my Divination Oil (sage, lavender, cedar, & rosemary essential oils, along with wormwood, yarrow, willow, & mugwort)

-Adorned with a beautiful pentacle talisman. This affixed with wax and may be easily removed for further spellwork once the candle is finished. Set within a green oak moss ring that is removable.

“…woo hoo witchy woman, see how

high she flies

woo hoo witchy woman she got

the moon in her eye

She held me spellbound in the night…”

- Eagles Lyrics -“Witchy Woman”

I make my hutches one at a time… from start to finish. There is no assembly line in my workshop. No elves either. For this reason, this is truly one-of a-kind. I keep no written “recipes” for the color or instructions for the items I create to put into/on my hutches. Pieces on this hutch are from nature or created at the time I was working on it from materials at hand at that time. Thus, it cannot be duplicated.

This is my original idea, design, and also the story .
