A WSBK racebike tears up the tarmac on Phillip Island's Southern Loop, an extremely fast left hander that lies just a hundred metres from the drop into Bass Straight.

Entrance sign of a very different wildlife and hiking area. 15 man made ponds were built in the 1960's to attract wildlife. 11.2 miles of hiking trails comprise the Buzzard Swamp Trail System. A very beautiful area that is a lot more open than most areas of the heavily forested Allegheny National Forest.
An interpretive trail. There probably wont be any flyers at the trailhead- pick them up at one of the rangers stations 24 hour lobbies.
The Lead locomotive of NS P60, one of the only trains left on the famed Old Fort Loops, pops out of Burgin Tunnel, the second of 6 tunnels on the loops.
Oh no! This was a mess of very tall downed trees. I sneaked through, but fell on some brush while carrying Duchess. No injuries though.

A nice grassy lane as part of the trail system. We passed a fisherman that warned us about ticks that proved to be very abundant.
