Ohropax Color - earplugs
Ein Paar Ohrstöpsel ohne Kabel und Bluetooth um die Geräusche der Stille zu genießen. Du kannst den eigenen Pulsschlag, den Atem und das Blut rauschen hören, die eigentlichen Geräusche des Lebens.
HMM! Habt eine schöne Woche!
A pair of earplugs without wire and bluetooth to enjoy the sound of silence. You can hear your own pulse, breath and blood rustling, the real sounds of life.
HMM! Have a nice week!
Stell dir vor, es gäb‘ kein‘ Himmel
es ist ganz leicht, wenn du’s versuchst.
Unter uns keine Hölle
über uns nur‘s Firmament
Stell dir vor, alle Völker
lebten in Frieden hier.
Die Welt wär ohne Grenzen,
wie wunderbar das wär'.
Nie mehr Flucht vor Kriegen,
Vertreibung gäb's nicht mehr.
Stell dir vor, wir leben
ohne Hass und Neid.
Du magst sagen, dass ich träume,
doch ich bin damit nicht allein.
Eines Tag‘s vielleicht sind wir viele
und diese Welt ist vereint.
Stell dir vor, ’s gäb keine Armut,
Glaube mir, das würde geh’n.
Sinnlos wär'n Gier und Hunger,
es ist noch nicht zu spät.
Stell dir vor alle Völker
teilen sich gerecht die Welt
Du magst sagen...

This was an art installation from May 10 to June 21 down at the World Trade Center. There were about 10 of these creating a pathway down toward the 9/11 Memorial. It’s now been removed, but it was very cool. These metal spheres turned, and as they turned, you would hear sounds. it was up to the visiting public to turn them and then of course the center circle had a reflective glass in them. At first they were not very impressive but when you began to play with them, they ended up being quite fun. Unfortunately I discovered the display on June 20.

Eons ago there were hills and valleys at the northern end of NZ's South Island. Now the sea has flooded in and made sounds. Seen from Air NZ shortly after take-off from Wellington on our way home.
Although one of the most beautiful locations in the world, she still often hides herself in clouds and fog. (Milford Sound on South Island New Zealand)

A southbound Sound Transit commuter train seen approaching the South Lander Street crossing at MP 1.2X on BNSF's (former Northern Pacific) Seattle Sub mainline just moments out of King Street Station. SNDX 921, an MP MP40PH-3C blt. Jan. 2013), leads the 7-car Tacoma bound train on a glorious spring day as the impressive skyline looms above.
The retractable roof Safeco Field, (home of the Seattle Mariners) which opened in 1999 can be seen behind the train. The tallest black colored building is the 76-story Columbia Center, which rises 937 feet and has been the undisputed tallest building in the city since being constructed in 1985 and is currently the 29th-tallest building in the US. Also note the pointed building just above ans to the left of the locomotive. While rather diminutive in the modern city, the Smith Tower completed in 1914 was a marvel for its day. The 38-story, 484 ft tower is the oldest skyscraper in the city and was among the tallest skyscrapers outside New York City at the time of its completion.

In the air, on the ground
You do hear the sweet sound
Of my love, soft and tender
That takes you along the path to enter
The hidden woods, the secret lands
Where you surrender to my hands
Among the leaves, against the tree
We are one, wild and free
Cries they fill the Autumn skies
Beauty is seen by my eyes
Sweetness tasted on your lips
As my love, in the wild it slips
Down the path, where i enter
Paradise, so soft and tender
Where birds hear, the sweet sound
Of our love that is now found
On the ground and in the air
Among the leaves, wild and bare

Simon atop a rock buttress on Ben More in the Britannia Range, overlooking Howe Sound
Inside story on the shot: We had begun ascending the ridge above, when we all looked back at this view. When Chris and I commented that it'd be a superb shot but it would work better with scale, Simon backtracked down the slope and climbed out to the lookout. Now that is what I call doing anything for the right photo! From afar it may look precarious but he assured me at the time that it was not difficult ground at all.
