Wie können wir neue Geschichten aus dem kulturellen Erbe erzählen? The Mask of Time ist ein audiovisuelles Werk von Mattia Casalegno und Martux_m, das für die Fondazione Giorgio Cini im Rahmen des Digitalzentrums ARCHiVe geschaffen wurde. Mithilfe von Archivmaterialien und Technologien wie KI, 3D-Modellierung und Sounddesign wird das historische Teatro Verde neu interpretiert – durch photogrammetrische Scans und immersive virtuelle Bühnenbilder. Hyperrealistische Avatare lassen vergangene Inszenierungen wieder aufleben und machen das Theater zu einem Ort, an dem Natur, Kultur und Technologie auf visionäre Weise zusammenfinden.
