The proceeds from this night support nonprofit Sound Experience's work to provide on-the-water environmental education to the youth of Puget Sound.

The Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is held each year the weekend following Labor Day.

With over 30,000 people attending the three-day event, and featuring 300 boats of all types and sizes, it is the largest wooden boat festival in the United States.

We went on a three hour cruise out of Olympia, WA aboard the Schooner Adventuress the afternoon of April 14. The weather was great, and Avast; a westerly came through at the time of our sail to strain the sheets. What a fun time.
