They have two sound stages designed by MGM. The light holders are motorized and can be easily descended, adjusted and raised.
Constructed in an area known as 'the Roughs' in the hills above Hythe, stands the last of two steel mesh and concrete sound (or accoustic) mirrors that were constructed here before the development of RADAR to listen for the approach of enemy aircraft. This 30 ft span variant is slowly decaying, and the second mirror in this location (one of 20 ft span) was destroyed in storms in the 1980s. The mirror and ancillary building are on MoD land, but a permissive footpath nearby enables walkers to get up close and personal.
Even lesser pan only showing 100 degrees of spread from southwest to northwest with Olympic peninsula and mountains prominent on right - The Brothers is the highest mountain (twin peaks - "the brothers") on right just before the fir tree. The strange gradation on the left center area is due to the overexposed nature of the first image on the left and the correctly exposed images on the right being blended. These are "stitched" panoramas - images stitched together but which were taken in 15 degree increments as part of a photographic arc.

Milford Sound
Milford Sound (Piopiotahi in Māori) is a fjord in the south west of New Zealand's South Island, within Fiordland National Park and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site. It has been judged the world's top travel destination in an international survey, and is acclaimed as New Zealand's most famous tourist destination. Rudyard Kipling had previously called it the eighth Wonder of the World.
Milford Sound is named after Milford Haven in Wales, while the Cleddau River which flows into the sound is also named for its Welsh namesake. The Māori named the sound Piopiotahi after the thrush-like piopio bird, now extinct. Piopiotahi means "a single piopio", harking back to the legend of Māui trying to win immortality for mankind - when Maui died in the attempt, a piopio was said to have flown here in mourning.

The choir sounds much better with microphones and such, so Jeffrey volunteers to run sound for the concerts. Here he's making sure all the cables are attached properly.
Named by Capt George Vancouver for Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany in 1794, the Sound is known for its humpback whales. Didn't see any here though.

Sound nightclub in LA marks a return to the industrial rock n’ roll warehouse party, mashed up with cutting edge technology and audio features that set the bar for music driven nightclubs of the future. ICRAVE designed this space, which showcases a state-of-the-art A/V system, classic analog light shows, and a custom projection system that displays content in cages which run along the dance floor made of steel mesh wrapped scaffolding. The client’s original idea of a “black box” club evolved as ICRAVE drew inspiration from the building itself, a former warehouse-turned-theater. By accentuating the building’s existing structure, and incorporating materials like charred redwood and custom Caravaggio and Bosch paintings printed on canvas, burlap and suede, the space gives the impression of a burnt out baroque warehouse- with the most innovative sound system on Hollywood Boulevard.
