Le rappeur Soprano avec un fan avant le concert de Sos Racisme sur le champs de mars le 14 juillet 2011.
Cameras are made for moments like this. Just made. I've covered Helen and Peter, but let me say a bit about Angie and Mike. Angela went from friend of a friend to a comforting weekly online presence; someone you can shoot the shit with and still feel like you come out of it richer and better. Powerful, passionate, extreme: all things I'm thrilled to have. Michael is perhaps the most eccentric person I know. Body of a model, heart of a vagrant, soul of a poet, he will be both man and boy, and remembered as such even past his death. Everyone in this picture I hold near and dear. A state just across the border...but if not for them, I wouldn't have what I have right here in NYC. They are as much the base as anyone I know here. Distance will not, cannot stop that. I will not let it.
North Jersey mob boss, Tony Sopranos dvd boxset, self-described "waste management consultant," reluctantly seeks a psychiatrist's help after blacking out. Lest he appear weak, he must keep his therapy a secret from the rest of the Mob. He's stressed: his teenage daughter is giving his wife fits; his mean-spirited mother refuses to move to a retirement community; his aging Uncle Junior, jealous of Tony's rise to the top, won't stay in line and engineers a plot to kill Tony; and the feds, armed with RICO, are circling. In therapy, Tony must come to terms with his father's example, his mother's manipulations, and his own fears of death and loss of family...

So I was going to post a picture of my new shoes for the 365 Days Project, but about half an hour ago I was buying a muffin, only to see James Gandolfini and the Sopranos film crew right outside the window of the deli. I squeezed off a couple of shots right before the batteries died.
So, I went on to work.
As I was crossing the street in front of the taxi they were shooting in, He looks up at me and gave me a big smile and a little hand wave.
I waved back and smiled and went on to my job.

Archaeological Site of Kourion
Gazing at the full moon’s reflection on the Mediterranean Sea from the imposing ancient Kourion amphitheatre, two unique voices – the internationally renowned Cypriot baritone Kyros Patsalides and the highly acclaimed soprano Zoe Nicolaidou – took us on an unforgettable musical journey. The singers were accompanied by 100 young artists on stage, members of the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Cyprus and the Choir of the School of Music of Nicosia, under the distinguished Cypriot conductor George Kountouris.
The unique acoustic quality of the theatre echoed to the sound of Carmen, La Traviata, Neapolitan serenades, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Viennese operettas, as well as the famous Greek composers Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hatzidakis. And no such event promoting the treasures of our cultural heritage was complete without the inclusion of a few traditional – yet timeless – Cypriot songs.
Nowhere else in Cyprus could such an event be better realised than at the magnificent surroundings of this Greco-Roman theatre. Built in the 2nd century BC on the site of Kourion, one of the island’s most important city-kingdoms, the theatre’s archaeological remains are among the most impressive sights in Cyprus
Tony hanging out after the David Mamet reading at UCLA. He looks a little shorter and slightly less corpulent in real life.
