This time of year the bog looks like one big cranberry field. Quite appetizing.
I recommend to view it large to see this detail-rich foreground.
I have always been fascinated by storms and severe weather. As soon as I saw this storm approaching, I grabbed my camera and tripod and headed for the front yard. I was fortunate to capture this cloud to ground lightning strike. This view is overlooking the Susquehanna Valley in central Pennsylvania.

The growth and foliage are well on their way, and there are definitely sprouts on the ground.
Most of my obvious signs of spring haven't graced us yet. I will continue to embrace the bleakness
I really love these shots, but I do enjoy growth and warmer weather. It's been so much better here though lately, not complaining!
