All I ever needed
was someone to talk to
someone to hold on to the end
All I ever wanted
was someone to reach to
when it seemed my life was gonna end
All I ever asked for
was someone I cared for
enough to tell them I was their friend
All I ever prayed for
was someone like you
and that is what I got in the end.
This card is for a special someone who thinks all the time of others..... Currently she is suffering from back pain... so some of us are "paying her back" and sending her some cards to cheer her up!!!!
This one is CASE'd from an English Magazine called Cardmaking and Papercraft. I adapted their card to the stamps and nestibilities I had. I stamped the white background with the Flowers and Dots background in Key Lime chalk ink. I used the same stamp with Stazon on acetate and then cut out the bigger butterfly. I stamped the Inkadinkado flourish on to white card and layered it onto the green. Add lots of clear gems for some added bling and also added gems to the smaller green butterfly and stuck it on top of the acetate on. I used the Dahlia nestibility to make the flower with words on it. Added some faux stitching and all done.
Deborah has now received this card so I am showing it off. Hope it cheered her up
Story wanted to strangle me when i told her i have very little money left,i spent it all on the LV bag,and disney hongkong is still yet to come!
1. ICly I'm sure this is what Espi and Lucy would look like after attempting to spike some cupcakes to sell.
2. I came to realize the other day you have become such a big part of my daily routine. I wake up to see your messages and crazy stories, You keep me sane on Skype while I'm in endless meetings, we often send each other to bed when we know it's too late. We talk silliness. We talk about nothing. We talk seriousness. I'm so glad I have been able to help you, but I want you to know you have helped me too! You have genuinely pulled me back to remembering why playing Espi was so fun. Reminded me that things aren't so bad! I'm so grateful you seek me out since I absolutely suck at those things. I'm also pretty sure I will kidnap you when we go to Europe. Keep a bag packed. I adore you <3 Thanks for being at my side in every way possible. RL, SL, and in RP. You're an angel. Or unicorn. Or whatever other fantastical creature you think up next!
someone told me that images of a woman standing by a window were not really worthy of a like and were not interesting. I believe that to be untrue and have attempted to imbue my images with expression, and the emotion conveyed is left to your interpretation. please leave a comment if you have any thoughts to share.

One of my favorite books......first time taking a picture of a book and editing it - I'm not sure how I did.
Someone has made an installation on the beach using an old boat and some pots which I thought made a good foreground to the cliffs beyond.

♪♫ Song for someone, Perry Blake ♪♫
This is a song for someone
I have yet to meet
She could be riding on the subway
Or sleeping in the street
This is a song for someone
I may never know she could be dead
In someone’s memory
But how am i to know ?
This is the song for no one
I have ever known
And i don’t need these old photographs
To tell me that i'm alone
This song is for someone
This song is for someone
I'll take a train that travels far
That takes me near to where you are
I'll take no radio for company
I'll take no baggage
Just a photograph
This is a song for someone
I may never know
You could be riding on the subway
You could be driving through the snow
This is a song for someone
This is a song for someone
My mothers kitchen was beautiful because it was full of love...I remember mama pulling us in a wagon so we could pick berrys for canning...I remember her homemade apple pies, cherry and even rhubarb pie! Everything was home made and she always cooked and baked for us with lots of love! This was taken in June of 1955 on my brothers birthday...
We did a small group shoot at the Idaho Capitol Building with some new (to us) models. Chante was one of the models - wow - what an amazing young lady. She is very sharp, focused, gorgeous, curvy, and a blast to shoot with. I had a chance to shoot with her briefly before she was model-napped by the other photographers but I think we will do some more shoots in the near future.
I took these photos in early January 2020.
