The St. Ursus Cathedral is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Basel in the city of Solothurn, Switzerland. The interior is an impressive example of neoclassical architecture made of light marble (Jura limestone). The cathedral was constructed between the years 1762 and 1773.

Als Pendant zum Samson-Brunnen steht links (von der Hauptgasse aus gesehen) der Moses-Brunnen. Moses war der gotterfüllte Führer des israelitischen Volkes in der Wüste. Mit seinem
Stab schlägt er Wasser aus dem Felsen. Das Brunnenwasser
fliesst aus der Muschel in 11 Strähnen in die flache Schale und
von dort aus frei in das geschweifte Bassin.
