In an unusually warm and snow delinquent winter, one can still appreciate the beauty. Solothurn is a beautiful little city in the heartland of Switzerland where they have a Christmas market one day of the entire season, usually on December 17th, just before the solstice. It's a cozy event with lots of hand made things from local artisans. And you get this view the entire event.
