Another beautiful and powerful Solar PV System installed by Home Energy. This Goshen, Indiana, project includes 44 Schott 235W Solar Panels, two 5,000W SMA Inverters, for a total project size of 10.34kW.
The Sun photographed with a Mylar filter. This image was taken using my Nikon D70 camera attached to an f/8.3 120-mm refractor and a 1.5 X teleconverter that boosted the focal length to 2250 mm (f/18.8). Post-processing of the RAW file included tweaking the white balance to warmer temperatures (>20'000K) to eliminate the bizarre look of a blueish Sun seen through a Mylar filter. Unsharp mask was additionally used to make more details of the sunspots discernible in this low-resolution version of the image.

Saturn, sfotografowany w niesprzyjających warunkach (przeciętny seeing, zaledwie 16 stopni nad horyzontem, znaczne zanieczyszczenie światłem, w mieście). Przedstawiono różne fazy przetwarzania zdjęcia. Górne po lewej jest rezultatem stackowania (nakładania) 50% najlepszych z 7231 klatek (w programie AutoStakkert!). Górne po prawej używa opcji sharpened (również w AutoStakkert!). To zdjęcie jest bazowe dla zdjęć z dolnego rzędu. Zdjęcia w dolnym rzędzie przedstawiają różne metody dekonwolucji. Oba wykonane w programie Astra Image 3.
