Solar system model located in Helsinki and Espoo. Here is Uranus. On the same walking trip I passed Neptune too but was unaware where it was and regretted for not checking its location beforehand.

The sun that heats us up, in front of us two inanimate stone heaps behind us some inanimate gas giants in between a halfway habitual red dot...
The whole surrounded by a dark unknown space which erases us unprotected in fractions of a second and we squat on the island of bliss a pale blue dot at the edge of a huge galaxy...

My project was done for my 2 year old grandson. It was quilted and sewn by hand. The material survived our house fire in 2011. I call it Lucas' Solar System. It is 43.5 x 34 inches. My name is Marcia Kuechle from Collinsville, IL.
30 second exposure at about 50mm with ISO 1600. I had to keep moving the camera, so a fixed tripod was used. About 6:00am local time.
