In 2010 the Mass Audubon Blue Hills Trailside Museum received a grant to install a PV array that is currently powering the museum complex.
We just acquired access to some tools that let us monitor the energy produced by the solar array.
Looking at the table on the right, it's currently generating 26kW. This makes sense, since it's overcast, with intermittent showers today.
Overall, it's generated 24 mW (megawatts) since we turned it on.
Pretty cool, since we turned it on just over a month ago.

Mr. Jack Meng and Ms. Helen He, from the Beijing office of Fire Energy, visited the AmeriStart office in November, 2009. AmeriStart organized a 2-week sales tour for Fire Energy, including attendance at the SolarPower International 2009 show in Anaheim California.

I'm hopeful that this new lighthouse (Nov. '09) will prevent wayward mariners from crashing into my house on foggy nights. Since it's solar powered, I'm considering it my contribution to the planet's welfare.
Update: April, 2010...here we are, 6 months later, and not a single ship has run aground in my front yard. This thing really works!!!
We turned this family's detached garage into a power plant, generating all of the energy they need for their home.
