Solar power at its finest. Since I was shooting a lot of Time-lapse at night I need to recharge the camera batteries every day...this thing ROCKS.

David Worrell and Jack Meng depart from the AmeriStart office. Mr. Meng is managing director of Fire Energy, a Chinese distributor of Solar Photovoltaic equipment. AmeriStart made all arrangements for a 2-week sales tour in the USA for Mr. Meng, including attendance at the SolarPower International 2009 trade show in Anaheim.

We just acquired access to some tools that let us monitor the energy produced by the solar array.
Looking at the table on the right, it's currently generating 26kW. This makes sense, since it's overcast, with intermittent showers today.
Overall, it's generated 24 mW (megawatts) since we turned it on.
Pretty cool, since we turned it on just over a month ago.
Holly Solar's copper LED path light, is a alternative to the hardware store LED light. The three "Nichia" white leds produce a clear white LED light to safely mark the path. Mr. Jack Meng and Ms. Helen He, from the Beijing office of Fire Energy, visited the AmeriStart office in November, 2009. AmeriStart organized a 2-week sales tour for Fire Energy, including attendance at the SolarPower International 2009 show in Anaheim California.
