Down by the coast they've set up a solar power station (or at least a whole load of solar panels) and this is the show-piece
From left, Kevin Flynn and Ryan Wig, from J.A. Wig Construction and Electric, out of New Egypt, fasten solar panels on the roof of the 99th Regional Support Command headquarters building on Fort Dix. The solar panels are one of the ways the installation is trying to conserve energy and become more eco-friendly (Photo courtesy of Fort Dix_
The side of one of the buildings at work is covered in solar panels. They gleam in the sun, albeit infrequently, in Scotland.
If you've got solar panels then they need a nice clean scrub every once in a while, just like you or I.
The Googleplex is entirely covered with solar panels, as are many of the car ports (like the one you see above).
If you strain your eyes you might even see some wires dangling from the roof, they are for charging your electric cars.
Love this commitment to eco friendliness by Google.
The Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) recently allocated 500 MW worth of solar PV power plants to five separate developers. All the projects were allocated at less than Rs 6.00/kWh (9.2¢/kWh), the lowest tariffs for any project allocated under the Punjab solar power policy so far.
Bei Sonnenuntergang sehen unsere Solarpanele aus, als wären sie aus purem Gold gemacht.
At sunset our solar panels look like they are made from pure gold.

While anchored to a foot restraint on the end of the Orbiter Boom Sensor System (OBSS), astronaut Scott Parazynski, STS-120 mission specialist, assesses his repair work as the solar array is fully deployed during the mission's fourth session of extravehicular activity (EVA) while Space Shuttle Discovery is docked with the International Space Station. During the 7-hour, 19-minute spacewalk, Parazynski cut a snagged wire and installed homemade stabilizers designed to strengthen the damaged solar array's structure and stability in the vicinity of the damage. Astronaut Doug Wheelock (out of frame), mission specialist, assisted from the truss by keeping an eye on the distance between Parazynski and the array. (ISS016-E-009207 3 Nov. 2007 Credit: NASA)

captured from a train between WilSG and St Gallen (city). Lucky snapshot. This stretch of rail has more than 13 photovoltaic panels, some quite extensive, on houses and farmhouses. And there are always more and more.
DEVENS, Mass. (June 15, 2016) -- In the future, Army expeditionary base camps will sip fuel and water while slashing waste.
That was the message heard by Army leadership June 15 at the Sustainability Logistics Basing -- Science and Technology Objective Demonstration, or SLB-STO-D, Leadership Day at the Base Camp Integration Laboratory, or BCIL, on Fort Devens.
