The grid-connected PV system includes PV modules, grid-connected inverter and power switchboard. The PV modules convert the solar energy to the DC power, then the grid-connected inverter convert the DC power to the sine wave AC power which keep the same frequency and phase with the public electric network, The AC power partly feed-in the public electric network and the rest supplies the local loads or families.

L'installation a été fournie et posée à Bouclans en Franche-Comté dans le département du Doubs par l'agence ThermoSeme de Bezançon.

The scaffolding still being up makes this photo somewhat more crappy than it would otherwise be (mainly by shading the house), but scaffolding aside, the whole thing is finished and working (front and back, PV and thermal), with the only thing left to do being to get the data logger connected up so I can redefine obsessive and check on the PV remotely.
